Elsewhere Table

This table was designed and built while in residence at Elsewhere in Greensboro, NC. All the wood was repurposed from the collection and architecture of the living museum. Responding to the constantly shifting number of dinner guests, the three sections of the table can be repositioned into a long, thin rectangle or a large square or a diagonal shape in between. Although the table can move and be repositioned, its mass and weight demand multiple participants to do so.
